New Zealand Vaping Laws 2024 for Single Use Vapes (Disposables)
Starting this 21st of December, Puffing Kiwi will only sell single use vapes (disposables) products that are fully compliant to the new law.
To update you with the current events, here's a simple timeline of what's happening:
New vaping law will be implemented on December 21, 2023 by the Ministry of Health in New Zealand. By March 21, 2024, all of the vaping products will be affected by this law.
December 21, 2023: On this date, the Ministry of Health implements regulations on single use vape (disposables), including:
- The nicotine strength for all single-use products will be capped at 20mg.
- Flavour names limited to two words (as recommended by the Ministry of Health)
- Removable battery

Child Safety Mechanism:
1. All single use vapes require at least 2 simultaneous or 5 sequential operations before the vaping device is activated
2. Automatically deactivates within a period of no more than 10 minutes after vaping has stopped.
What happens next?
As the new laws are implemented, your favourite single use vape (disposables) will no longer be available. Buying disposables will only be allowed until December 20, 2023, but Puffing Kiwi is offering the biggest price drop ever on these disposables:

- Dragbar F8000: now $7 only
